Yeo Valley eyes lunchbox market
Marketing, Wednesday, 20 December 2006, 12:00am,
Dairy firm Yeo Valley Organic is launching an organic, handheld yoghurt stick aimed at the children's lunchbox market.
Yeo's, which launches next month, will be sold in packs of nine in most of the major multiples, including Tesco, Sainsbury's and Waitrose.
Its introduction will be backed by an ad campaign created by Publicis, which will break in the first half of next year and promote Yeo Valley's entire range.
Yeo Valley will aim Yeo's at mothers by highlighting the product's high fruit content, ease of storage and role as a healthy snack for children.
It will also flag up efforts by the government to persuade parents to provide healthier lunchboxes for children.
