The Conservative activist behind Tory Radio is set to move into the agency world with a role at Insight Public Affairs.
Jonathan Sheppard is well known in Tory circles for setting up the political podcast and weblog back in 2005. Tory Radio regularly features interviews with top political figures and has been praised by senior Tory MPs including Iain Duncan Smith, Chris Grayling and Grant Shapps.
Having previously worked in corporate affairs and government relations for the Post Office, Royal Mail and Boots, Sheppard will join Insight as an account director. The agency has also appointed Gareth Elliott, senior policy adviser to the British Chambers of Commerce, as an account manager.
